Gavin & Stacey star suffers head injury and is rushed off stage before Christmas special

A Gavin and Stacey star has been rushed off stage after suffering a head injury.

Actor Mathew Horne, who plays Gavin in the hit BBC sitcom, hit his head while on stage during a West End show. He was rushed off to seek medical attention. Matthew is currently starring in a production of The Tempest at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.

Disaster struck just ten minutes into his performance on Tuesday night and the show was halted. The actor hit his forehead on a rock on stage as part of the play where he rolled on the floor.
